The CSS610 is SwOS only and doesn’t cut it as a result; need the ability to secure the device properly and manage software updates and such centrally from The Dude.
Give us a CRS610 with CRS3XX-or-better switch chip functionality/integration from RouterOS, and you all can take our money!
+1 …
It’s a fantastic price but I agree that SwOS more or less ties the switch to home usage (or maybe very small business)
would love to see that as well!

Yeah I have moved from CRS210 to CRS610 and was surprised by the SwOS.
I would love to see 310/410 or etc (with maybe more than 2 SFP+)…
Also will be happy if I see 610 with RouterOS.
Bump
Still longing for a “CRS610” or ideological equivalent!
Thanks!
I’m waiting for a CRS 318-16P-2S+, This would be a great enhancement for my home network. If 2 or 4 POE-Ports would be 2.5 GBE it would be great.
No fans would be great and if really needed put by default a Noctua in.
Mikrotik must be aware of the switches QNAP is bringing up .

I can see why they cut all corners to reach $99, but many had found it more useful if it would run RouterOS.
the closest option is
https://mikrotik.com/product/crs326_24g_2s_in
is CRS 326 without rackmount enclosure
cheaper than CRS 210 and only 85mm wider
I do hear you! Still, that “only 85mm wider” in this case translates to 42% wider than the CRS210 and CSS610, which is pretty significant on top of (or under) a desk. ![]()
