While going thru health checks of ccr 1036-8g. I found sudden rising of cpu usage for unknown reasons. I was unable to do profiling as it was detected in graphs. Normally the cpu usage hovers around 18%. CPU nearing at 100% at extemely lean hours 2.30am
so queues does have some problems with handling multicores (for what i think). I recently did a test
A(pc)…ccr1036(vlan)…B(pc)
flooded the packets with hping3 from A to B and to my surprise the cpu got 100% @ 200kpps with tcp. I was shocked to see the cpu usage. As cpu was 99% winbox was sluggish. In profile I somehow saw cpu usage consumed by queues. There was a queue for dst B but with unlimited bandwidth disabling this queue brought the cpu usage back to normal.
What version of ROS is being used?
