Sudden low CCQ's

We’ve recently started experiencing low ccq’s and associated low through-out in client cp’s. Another ISP went live on the same tower over a month before this started happening. We have been in contact with them and they too are experiencing low connection qualities for the first time.

We are using ubiqiti 5.8ghz sectors and cpe’s and RB1100 core routers.

The sector is on a mountain site with clear line of site to all locations. All cpes have a better then -70 signal strength. Only the ccq and therefore throughput is effected.

Are we wrong to suspect jamming/interference or is there something more obvious?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest using a pro spectrum analyzer at this location do a reading near your antenna’s with your gear on and then off, if you are able to ask the other ISP to switch off just long enough for a reading, then analyze the results of your reading?

You don’t happen to know were we can hire one of these in Ireland?

We actually got the other providor to shut down and it made no difference to us.

I was looking into the frag and it may be set too high. When we set up obviously we wanted everyone to be quick but we have it set at auto enabled but may need to drop the bps.

Thanks
