Suggested hardware for the fastest WDS PTP link ?
((( First of all - I am talking about throughput - not connection rates )))
Distance: 5 miles
Line of site: good
Noise: low or none
WLAN cards: Mimo 2x2 AC
Antenna and hardware: What ever works the best and can deliver sustained 500 meg plus throughput
Who is using what to sustain 500 meg throughput WDS links? <----------
I am starting to run up into a wall at 400 to 525 meg throughput on WDS PTP links. Mostly because of the following:
- Miktotik CPUs just are not fast enough to handle NV2 traffic at 500 meg throughput without approaching 100 percent CPU load.
I seek you answer/hardware solutions:
Any Mikrotik product
Any Antenna
Any (ANY) wireless settings (ANY ! )
