If the path profile is correct, there is no clean LOS so the link won’t be stable.
You could try to mount antennas on highest possible position on both sides,
use higher frequency (5700 + MHz), bigger antennas and horizontal polarization.
I have encountered this on many occasions and when there is no line of sight between point A to B then either put a repeater in the middle or sometimes if not in direct line then a location that has LOS to point A & B and maybe also used as additional AP’s
If you don’t have clear LOS, multipath can be a good thing (up to a point), because every reflection increases the energy that reaches the far end. The limit is with the MIMO receiver’s ability to de-tangle these multiple signals with varying delay and reconstruct the original signal. So if you have a small number of strong reflections (as opposed to a massive blur of weak reflections), multipath can be a Good Thing™. Ultimately, you have to just try it and see what works best.
Just looking at the attached picture and from calculations -103.35 dBm is listed, your co-ordinates have L instead of E for east, also RX Threshold -30 dBm I use -90dbm, still I get -109dbm at RX site but cannot understand -83 practical reading using 5180, it should be zero at that point with the high ground in between point A & point B, sorry for asking but are you sure it’s not another station on that frequency that is giving this reading, is it constant if not then it would appear you could be getting signal thermal ducting effect
Not sure multipath will work effectly when there is not LOS and especially if the link was a PTP where bandwidth and reliability is very important also does anyone have experience with how much improvement in CCQ is achieved by this method
I am sure it is not another station because I have that far link as bridge and station on my tower. As far as Ligowave coordinates, I checked the Map and the sites are exactly where I want/confirmed. Today I a going to explore possibilities from the repeater site which is at 12 miles. I dont think there should be any problem.
