suggestion for an access point with remote antennas

Hi,
I need a router/switch/access point. Everything will be placed inside a cabinet, so I need to put the antenns in a remote (2 meters) location. I think to have 2 options:

  1. buy a RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN, remove the antennas, and put a 2 meters cable from the router to the antennas. Do you thin that can be a good solution? Which type of cable I need to buy to move the antennas?
  2. Buy a RB2011iL-IN and and an access point, with a network cable I can connect the access point to the router.
I think that the second solution is the best but I do not find an access point with a gigabit interface.
What do you think about it?
    Thanks in advance

What radio parameters you need and what antennas will be connected? There is a plenty of devices you can use depending on your answer.

HI, I just need to use it inside my home with a 802.11n connection , so I do not need any special antenna, I think that the built in antennas ar good for my purpose, I just need to move them 3 meters away from the device.

Ok, then you can use Rb2011 uias 2hnd in together with mmcx extension pigtails that allow you to place original antennas where you want.

Thanks. Last question is:
I wish to put the 2 antennas inside a box, to hide them from the view…do you have any suggestion about which kind of box to use?
Thanks and regards
m

The box should be from plastic or wood if it stay dry.
