This may be a trivial request, but it would be splendid if in the next version of The Dude that link labels would clear away once a device goes down. Or else have the link description changed to something relatively small such as “link down”.
What I am noticing on my network map (see attached) is that whenever a device goes down then the default label immediately changes to:
Rx: [Interface.InBitRate]
Tx: [Interface.OutBitRate]
…which is not useful and obscures adjacent labels. It would be better when a device goes offline if the label either changed to “link down” or not display at all.
