suggestion of AP

Hi,
My home wifi ap just broke down.
It was a unifi ap ac lite.
I was not totally happy with the ap, it was a little weak and did not cover good in my house.

I live in a stand alone wooden house with a concrete blocked basement and has little wifi interference from houses around.
The house is 8x12 meter (26x39 feet) big and the wifi needs to mainly penetrate wood walls and a wooden floor down to the basement.

We are 5 in the house so 5 wifi devices might be used at the same time.
I have a 100/100Mbit fiber connection and I’m using an mikrotik 3011 router with gigabit connections.

buy hAP AX2 or hAP AX3 if you need USB.

I have seen a lot of complaints about the speed and range of mikrotik wifi equiptments.
Is it not better to use tp-link or asus?
What about the coverage in a house with walls, how many meters/feet is it’s range for decent wifi for streaming netflix and playing low graphics games (roblox)?

I will probably buy the mikrotik hAP ax2 since I really like mirkotik anyway :slight_smile:. is there a good setup guide? I have never set up a mikrotik wifi gear.
