It would be excellent to allow packet sniffing by packet marks. Currently you can select 1 or 2 ip addresses and ports - very limited. If we could specify a packet mark to filter on that would be so cool.

what version are you talking about? 2.9 ? wrong section 
2.9 - correct. Where is there a 2.9 forum other than the BETA one ? I believe all other forums still relate to 2.8…
So what do you think about the idea, too hard to implement? Mainly it would be nice when trying to track down these botnets and I’m dealing with many port numbers but don’t want to capture everything and weed it out later.

no, beta is for betas, 2.9 is not beta anymore, so it goes into the general section. as for the suggestion, we will take notice of it.
