I’m using Mikrotik for years, but never used the 3G USB connection, and have a few questions.
I have a SIM card given to me by my Mobile Operator with static IP address(Public).
What device do I need to get that address in my Mikrotik so I can use it directly from the routerboard.
First it was suggested to use 3G modem with the SIM card to get the Internet and after to deliver it to the Mikrotik using one of the ethernet ports. This doesn’t work for me cause what I get on the Mikrotik is a private address. I need the public address in the Mikrotik ?
Any Suggestions ?
Is it possible what I want ? and what do I need to buy to make it work ?
