Hello, I want to use my RB951G-2HnD as a ftp server with the external 3TB usb hdd a a storage.
Does this router support such big HDD via usb?
Max supported partition size in RouterOS is 2TB.
You can use this 3TB HDD in RouterOS if you have formatted multiple partitions each smaller than 2TB.
I can’t format USB HDD 3Tb.
How can I do partition HDD?
My understanding of USB support in Mikrotik is more for external logging of Syslogs, Proxy cache, etc and not for file sharing / FTP, etc.
