Support SATA ....

Hello kompais…

I need install a MK in a PC with two SATA hard disk, that will be in RAID1.

I cant, because if i install from C, it say that there arent any hard disk in the system (i image that it dont support the SATA?).

And if it is like i image, can i install it from a ghost image?..i think that i can, because if the problem is with the installation…it is resolve,no?

thanks and the best regards…

To my best knowledge MikroTik does not support SATA disks (like it doesn’t support SCSI disks)…
The only thing that would probably work is if you have a RAID subsystem which is “posing” itself as a standard IDE drive for the BIOS (so you don’t need an additional driver etc.)

RouterOS supports SATA disks in general, but only in legacy mode (you have to turn it on in BIOS). RAID is not supported through.
