supported channels in v3

Hi,
/interface wireless info print

5ghz-channels=5180:0,5185:0,5190:0,5195:0,5200:0,5205:0,5210:0,5215:0,
5220:0,5225:0,5230:0,5235:0,5240:0,5245:0,5250:0,5255:0,
5260:0,5265:0,5270:0,5275:0,5280:0,5285:0,5290:0,5295:0,
5300:0,5305:0,5310:0,5315:0,5320:0,5500:0,5505:0,5510:0,
5515:0,5520:0,5525:0,5530:0,5535:0,5540:0,5545:0,5550:0,
5555:0,5560:0,5565:0,5570:0,5575:0,5580:0,5585:0,5590:0,
5595:0,5600:0,5605:0,5610:0,5615:0,5620:0,5625:0,5630:0,
5635:0,5640:0,5645:0,5650:0,5655:0,5660:0,5665:0,5670:0,
5675:0,5680:0,5685:0,5690:0,5695:0,5700:0

but i cant use 5205 or like 5315 ,
card SR5 , country=romania , frequency mode=manual txpower

is frequency mode problem?

check regulatory domain of your country, what frequencies are allowed

i set frequency mode = regulatory domain

under /interface wireless info print its same
but when i set to use 5315 or 5225 said same:

couldn’t change interface - bad band and/or channel, see ‘wireless info’ for suppoted channels(6)

license on MT is lvl5 with custom frequency

what ROS version do you use? if it appears in ‘info print’ then it can be used.

V3 RC10
i woudnt ask you here , on 2.9.x works like you said , if is in ‘info’ i use that frequency.

supout.rif files from 2.9 and v3 to support will be welcome. we will see why it doesn’t work

Ok , i sending in 5 min , from v3 rc10

In v2.9 you will see such list for norway. As you can see it has a 20mhz steps. In v3.0 these steps isn’t applied (5mhz step is used). We could make it in v3.0 just like in v2.9 with 20mhz steps. Is it ok?

5ghz-channels=5740:33,5760:33,5780:33,5830:33,5180:20,5200:20,5220:20,
5240:20,5260:20,5280:20,5300:20,5320:20,5500:27,5520:27,
5540:27,5560:27,5580:27,5600:27,5620:27,5640:27,5660:27,
5680:27,5700:27

hmm , i like 5mhz step ,coz more freqency to choose ,
i send supout , hope mystery will be solved

But with more frequecy the scan will take longer time. And by default when you use 20mhz steps it means that you will not interfere with other APs.

how that affect on dual-nstream ?
if i use 5mhz step and if i use 20mhz how will that affect when i put ht-channel-width=20mhz and ht-channel-width=40mhz.
with ht-channel-width=40mhz should work better isnt?

It will affect the dual-nstreme only by the available freqeuncies.
ht-channel-width options is only for 802.11n.

I’ve also seen this on v3. When using 20Mhz channels, wireless Frequency list always shows 5Mhz steps, instead the usual 20Mhz step like v2.9.

we will make it just like in v2.9 so it doesn’t confuse the customers and so routers would connect with each other when using different routeros versions (v2.9 and v3.0)
