Supported Sangoma T1/E1 PCI cards

I’ve read the supported hardware page for Sangoma hardware which mentions the following:

Sangoma S5141 (dual-port) and S5142 (quad-port) PCI RS232/V.35/X.21 (4Mbit/s - primary port and 512Kbit/s - secondary ones)
Sangoma S5148 (single-port) and S5147 (dual-port) PCI E1/T1

These are now outdated and replaced by the A101, A102, A104 models which don’t appear in the supported hardware list. Do the newer models work in Mikrotik? Is anyone using them? If not, could anyone be so kind to point me in the right direction to purchase the older S5141, S5147, or S5142.

We would like to build out a Mikrotik router with dual or quad port T1 cards so that we can terminate 3 T1s now with the option of handling up to 8 in the future. Or is there a better way to do this without buying a Cisco router (our 2600 can currently handle only 2 lines). Many thanks.

a few months ago we were playing around with some (E1- and) E3-cards, having all kinds of problems. at last we decided to use media-bridges (E1/E3 to Ethernet) with good success, building up a celeron 2GHz based MT-system handling easyly three E3.

not exactly what you want but maybe helpful…

Thanks for the info mag. Unfortunately, we are limited to using T1 interfaces for this deployment.

Mikrotik, are you there? No response from support or here on the board. We would rather use a Mikrotik based router for this network if we can get some input on PCI adapters to use…or perhaps we’ll just hunt down some WIC cards for our Cisco.
