Connect with the MikroTik iOS app to your MikroTik wireless device that supports WPA3 (thus an AX device; an AC2 device would also suit with the wifi-qcom-ac package used).

In the app, go to:
App’s home screen → tap any 2.4 or 5 GHz wireless interface → scroll down to the Security section → in the parameter Authentication Types how the values are displayed:

  • correctly;

  • or the longer ones (WPA2-PSK, WPA3-PSK) are contracted with “…” in the middle (to the point of confusion).

Example of the incorrect:

If possible, please set the iOS setting Display & Brightness –> Display Zoom to "Larger Text” and look in the app again.

Please be kind to answer in the poll, or post a reply here with: Do you see the issue? Do you have the Display Zoom set to "Larger Text”?

If possible, add your iOS Region value, and if you have changed any of the below settings from the default:

  • Settings – Accessibility – Display & Text Size (default: all Off, but Auto-Brightness On).

  • Settings – Display & Brightness – Text Size (default: the middle 4/7)

  • Settings – Display & Brightness – Bold Text (default: Off).

  • Settings – Display & Brightness – Display Zoom (I have it changed to Larger Text).

Many thanks!

It’s fine for me. I do not use larger text or any of the other options you mentioned.

MikroTik app update 1.2.16 fixed this bug, from the changelog:
– Adjusted font to prevent truncation of wireless interface configuration’s authentication type options.

Magic.
