Isn’t the System->Resources-> Total Sector writes , an indication of usage and wear that survives reboots and upgrades ?
6.45.9 ROS version in your discovery … is this the same as in “Factory Software” on the same Resources page?.
It’s common practice from Amazon users give back item and ask for refund.
And obviously the seller… sell again the item “new” without say that is refurbished…
It happened to me with a roller brush, opened to clean it I found traces of another color…
It is often the habit of these users to have the item sent, USE IT for convenience, and send it back as non-compliant to get the refund.
I normally buy from Broadband Buyer but they didn’t have it in stock. Plus the amazing Amazon Prime next day delivery effectively for free is hard to resist. Which I do think is a problem - Amazon are just making it so easy to buy/return that other vendors are struggling. Like I can take the box around the corner to the local shop to return items.
It’s a bit like the death of the high street shop vs online. Esp. as they are renowned for not paying enough local taxes.
I try to encourage my main client to buy equipment from eBuyer as they are a UK company paying fair taxes employing UK staff. But no, they keep sneaking back onto Amazon.
Interesting times ahead esp. post pandemic whereby big retailers like Amazon have seen profits soar whereby the local shops/companies have struggled.
BTW - I keep reading about chip shortages. Is this going to effect Mikrotik?
I didn't realise how bad this shortage was until my glass of Jack Daniels split in half tonight and water must have got into my PC, hit my ancient graphics card causing the entire PC to fail. Thought I'd blown the motherboard but turns out the graphics card isn't working. PC won't even boot with it plugged in. Fortunately, I've got an even more ancient dual-DVI graphics card and I'm not a gamer. 512MB will keep me going.
