I would like to get cisco icons for my switches appear as my pictures on my map. Does anyone know of a site that I can download them? I have them all in Visio, but I can’t seem to find a way to import them into The Dude, or as pics so I can import them. I’d like to do the same for my servers as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Click on the left columb “FILES” drag and drop the new file in the images folder, If it doesn’t copy restart the dude. If you drop it in the wrong place just re-drop it.
In the device list edit the device so that it has the new graphic. Or create a new device “switch2” with the services and graphic that you want.
Assign the device the new device type…

To make your own icons, take a screen shot of the graphic you want to use (ALT-PRINTSCREEN) using “the gimp” open the file from the clip board, add a transparency and save the icon as a GIF. You can add SVG to “the gimp” with a plug-in.
Learning the gimp is another whole story but it is worth it.
