hello,
in wiki is written “Packets without vlan tag are treated just like if they had a vlan tag with vlan id = 0.”
My question is:
is there a way to set a different vlan for untagged packets for each port ?
what im trying to do is use rb750 as a regular switch with vlan ability. right now i use vlan interfaces and bridges, but this might work better.

I assume VLAN and bridges is the optimal configuration that you can achieve with RB750 (MikroTik RouterOS).
Hi Marv..
i’m a beginer in mikrotik router espicially RB750. you said that “you set RB750 as vlan n bridge” right?
in my case, i get problem with “make RB750 as switch to access router catalyst (rb750 will be backup switch catalyst for access router catalyst)”
configuration catalist:
-ip address 192.168.13.13 255.255.255.0
-ip default-gateway 192.168.13.2
-vlan-membership static 3
-vlan 3 name “server_farm” sde 100003 state Operational mtu 1500
-trunk On
could i have your mikrotik exsport file? may be it can work for me..
thanks a lot..
