Since the release of the Cloud Router Switches, Im confused about a few things.
- In order to do Spanning Tree, I cannot use the default configuration of master/slave and must use a bridge correct?
- Once in a bridge, if I want a VLAN 29 tagged on all 24 ports, I must add 24 uniquely named VLAN interfaces correct on on each interace port?
- Once Im using a bridge, do I lose wire speed switching between ports due to CPU limits?
- I tried to create a VLAN on the bridge interface that has the ports in it and it didnt work.
- Finally, since we now have more than 2,4, or even 13 interfaces, is there a feature like “interface range” so you can set the same attributes on large groups of ports in one command? Copying/pasting text, and 24 sets of mouse clicks in Winbox is a bit tiring.
