I’m looking at purchasing a CRS112-8G-4S-IN 8 port switch.
Will this switch function as a normal switch if its being connected to a network for the first time, without having to log into the switch and configure anything? I understand its configured for an ip of 192.168.88.1. But if the network its being added to begins at lest say 192.168.0.1 - and I add the switch to it - will it function immediately without any configuration?
The reason I ask is someone who is not very technical will be performing the initial install, so I’m hoping this switch can just be plugged in, and it will work right away.
