It seems to me, at least on my RB493AH, that the POE ethernet port eth1 does NOT participate in the switch chip. Is this accurate? I can find no mention of this anywhere in any of the literature on this product. Conversely, all the marketing literature says “the ethernet ports of your choice can be grouped together to make it act as a switch,” which is misleading.
yes, you are right, only ether2-ether9 can be switched. we will correct the brochure.
