I think that after you purchase device, it’s legally yours. So you can repackage it in a different case and place any kind of stickers on it. And you can sell it further (specially so if you also provide warranty services for the sold device).
When it comes to software, things are different. You’re not allowed to alter proprietary software (ROS is one) in any way other than permitted by software producer. So the question now is: is the device running ROS? If yes, then it likely highly branded (and that’s something MT allows). But it may also run some other OS (such as OpenWRT), in which case other terms apply.
When it comes to prices of such “highly enhanced” digital devices … stupidity is not illegal, so if one wants to pay 3k USD for an ordinary ethernet switch (with fancy looking case and nice propaganda leaflet), then so be it. As they say: it’s not wrong to take fool’s money, rather it’s wrong not to take it.
If one ignore the snake oil about audio enhancing ethernet…
They put in some time to make it look nice with a decent power supply. And bet they take a phone call if there is a problem. Sounds like cisco, and priced accordingly.
