I had a rb532 running as a repeater until i realized i had it set to station-wds and not AP Bridge when a client reported they could not see it’s ssid. I log in make a virutal ap(for someone else) and then set the wlan interface to ap-bridge. i booted me as expected then on the master wds int i see it conntect back but with a wired -95 signal and i can only tx to it. it never sends anything back and does not take an ip from my dhcp.
i setup wds on a differnt masters close-by and if i set them to wds->“ignore ssid” the repeater will connect but again with the -95 signal not tx ing to me at all.
watchdog is set to 15min if canthit the router and i can see it rebooting every 15min.
I can see the repeater transmitting its SSID i set it to. but i dont know how to really connect to that IT from the rb’s that are seeing it, around it…
only problem is the device is 400miles away…but i dont mind driving out there if i have to.
i usually set timed scripts to reverse what i do but i was in a rush ![]()
any ideas? tks
