Fixed: an inactive rule was the culprit. So I deleted it:-). Must have been active while the gui said inactive…
I’ve changed the DNS-servers in the Mikrotik to OpenDNS and now DNS no longer works. It has worked for some time though, like a week or so.
When I remove the router’s IP as the DNS-server on a computer, and put the OpenDNS IP there, it works. As soon as I specify the router as DNS server again, DNS stops working.
So why doesn’t OpenDNS work with the Mikrotik router?
When I sniff with Wireshark, I see references to stopbadware.org but I do not know that is relevant.
So how can I find out what is causing this?
