On an RB2011, is the bridging completely in software, or is it hardware assisted? The default config has four of the 1Gb switchports bridged. I’ve moved them to be slaves of sfp1, since I only route between one inside LAN and the internet. Will this give me better LAN performance?
If you set the interfaces on bridge become the cpu used.
If you set the interfaces on switch modus u used the switch chip and that means better performance
