Switch2 problem - no ping

Hello,

I have problem with switch2 (fast ethernet) in RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN
I use default setting and when on ether1-5 everything work so on ether6-10 i don’t have ping :frowning:

Screen from logs when cable is plug in to ether8:

Any ideas?

1 to 5 = switch chip1
6 to 10 = switch chip2

You can’t make one switch with 10 ports.
If you want that make a bridge
put master interface ether1 into the bridge and
put master interface ether6 into the bridge

I forgot to add screen with my bridge in first post:

What do ether1 in bridge?

Have you connect ether1 to ISP via another router?

Yes first router is connected to my ISP and this router is connected to mikrotik (in ethet1).
But, when i change this router to work as a modem and connect to my mikrotik i still have problem witch this second switch.

Get the router board assigned an IP address of the modem?

Configure ether6 as master from 7 to 10

Put ether6 to the bridge to.

Have you add ether7 to 10 to master ether6?
