Last day I got an idea: 8G-2S+ switches in the case size of the RB5009/L009
For a small office it could be enough in only 1RU, daisy-chained to the router over the SFP+ ports

Maybe with a software extension, they can work as port extender for the main router, configurable from that ROS

I use CRS310 8G connected with fiber SFP+@10G in small remote sites, and for biggers, i use CRS326.

Benchmark is impossible and complicated
In this case, RB5009 act as routing with lot of differents operators/ISP and speeds.
The 10G connection between RB/CRS is just here to avoid losing eth@1gig and because i had a lot of 10GB sfp.

All theses remotes sites are connected with a WG site2site between two mains sites with big WG servers and internet bandwith… and all remotes collected traffic “start from here”.
