Hello,
I’am having problems configuring a separate vlan for management on a RB260gs, how i tried:
- Port 1 is the trunk port to a cisco 2950 ( switchport tr all vlan 2,200 )
- Port 1 - VLAN tab - mode enabled, vlan receive only tagged, default vlan id 1, vlan header leave as is.
- Port 1 - VLANs tab - in both vid 2 ( the desired management vid ) and vid 200 ( clients vlan ) - add if missing.
What i noticed, it seems the rb260 accept requests coming on VID2 tagged but it answer those request on vid 1 untagged ( default vlan ). The only way i could get the rb260 to answer was to set native vlan 2 on the cisco device in order to redirect the untagged frames to the same vid. Is there a better way to do this or is a swos bug ?
