SXT 5HnD how to setup/configure?

Hello,

I think my SXT 5HnD product is broken - or am i doing something wrong?

Cant seem to access it with winbox.

What i am doing:

  1. Setting a static ip 192.168.88.2 on my computer

  2. Then connecting a TP cable directly to the antenna (SXT 5HnD)

  3. starting winbox to 192.168.88.1 (or the mac)

  4. but getting no response?


    what could be wrong,

Hello,

Silly question, but are you connecting a cable directly from your laptop to the antenna?

If so, the SXT will have no power. You will need an injector cable and a power supply.

Hello All,

  • It was something with the cables or the switch not sure - replaced both and now the SXT 5HnD works.

  • now i need to figure out how to configure use them.
