What can we do with the USB port on the new SXT 5HnD ?

whatever you can do with other USB ports in other RouterBOARD devices. Connect small USB storage, 3G modem etc.

can we manage the routerboard by the usb port?
do we need to use a serial converter?

for modules that is working with RouterOS. Just note, that USB is initialized by working RouterOS so boot loader menus still will not be available.
