We are having trouble with our SXT G-5HPacD-SA’s after upgrading. For some reason the devices will not connect to a 10M or 100M Ethernet network when set to auto negotiate speeds. We have tried with 3 devices, 2 new ones that we were attempting to install on a tower and one that we had in reserve. All of the devices have the same symptoms:
RouterOS: 6.30.4 Firmware: 3.24 - works fine – negotiates nearly instantly at all speeds
RouterOS: 6.32.3 Firmware: 3.24 - 10M does not connect - 100M takes several seconds to connect - 1G works
RouterOS: 6.32.4 Firmware: 3.24 - 10M does not connect - 100M does not connect - 1G works
RouterOS: 6.32.4 Firmware: 3.29 - 10M does not connect - 100M does not connect - 1G works - have to reboot for gigabit if you tried 100m or 10m
RouterOS: 6.34.2 Firmware: 3.29 - 10M does not connect - 100M takes several seconds to connect - 1G works
RouterOS: 6.35rc12 Firmware: 3.29 - 10M does not connect - 100M takes several seconds to connect - 1G works
The devices do establish a connection while booting, but not after the double beep.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
