SXT Lite 5ac using 2.4 as AP

I was wondering if you upgraded the license level to 4 from 3 if you could do the following

  1. use the 5GHz radio as an AP
  2. use the 2.4GHz radio as an AP for more then 1 connection, I am assume the 1.5db antenna is omni
  3. if 2 can happen, management the 2.4GHz radio with CAPsMan

The reason I am using is that I have a setup where I really could use the 5GHz as a backhaul and the 2.4GHz to serve wireless client access to laptops and or smart devices all it would be outdoors and all the the devices will be without 100 feet or so from the sxt lite5 ac

if the SXT lite5 ac will not do this, what product do you recommend? I would like 1 device with 2 radios in it, if there is no such product this would be a great idea to look into.

i think he needs the 5ghz directional radio of sxt

Correct I need a somewhat powerful directional antenna granted the backhaul hauls won’t be far under 1 mile for sure, but may have a tree of building here or there

perfect thank you, any clue on the power of the 2.4GHz radio? assuming around 20db with a 1.5dbi antenna should work pretty well for serving laptops and smart devices

Isn’t there level 3 license? It will not allow more than 1 client connected at once.
