SXT Lite5 died

Hi Guys!

We used Two SXT Lite5 as a Point2Point Bridge and that worked good for about 3 years.
Now one of that SXT Lite5 is somehow dead. When i connect it (with the power adapter inbetween) to my notebook there are no ethernet-lights at the ethernet connector of my notebook.
(when i try the same with the working SXT Lite5 i have ethernet-leds on my notebook on/blinking (for connection/data))

When i connect the power adapter with that defect SCT Lite5 the LEDs are flashing about every second. Could it be that the power of an internal DCDC-voltage regulator breaks down every second?
Maybe some electrolytic capacitor has gone bad over the time. This SXT Lite5 is used outdoor with positiv temperatures at over 40 degrees in the sun in summer and now this january it had minus 17 degrees (Linz, Austria). So temperature variation througout the day/night and winter/summer can be high which could speed up aging at some electrolytic capacitors.
I didn’t open the case of the defect SXT Lite5 - so this is just a guess.

Do you have any experience with defect SXT Lite5 so far? Is there some hardware defect that is very common?

We are going to order a new SXT Lite5 at some distributor in Austria but it would be nice to get the old defect one working again as a spare part.
