Guys can you please check this picture? This is far away from me and I dont’ know what to say to the guy working there to do with this sxt. Reset is the option but I want to show you this problem and I want to know if there is a solution without reseting it. I’ve installed over 400 sxt lites and this is first time I am seeing this.
It is a working unit? If so, it is failing in any way? or it is a new unit that refuses to work?
This unit was working since yesterday. Now wireless is down as I don’t see it in registration table on my access point and winbox is not showing it but lan says 100Mbps on the computer there.
I’m afraid the first thing you should do is reset to no defaults, then load the configuration again and test; if problem persists, netinstall. That way you could rule out nvram corruption; if problem persists I’m afraid your SXT is damaged or has faulty hardware.
You can do a reset to no defaults remotely (ticking run after reset pointing to the .rsc backup) , but:
1.- test that rsc first on a spare SXT at your location, checking if it loads without errors
2.- put a
:delay 5s
as the first line in the .rsc file to give some time for the wireless driver to load, so that the rsc loads properly .
Test first with your spare SXT.
Whenever I give this SXT power those three lights go on and that’s it. Impossible to reset on button or with reset configuration “button”. I guess I will send this one to check if there is hardware problem and will let you know.
I am not expert in electronics to understand what exactly they told me but there is some part attached to the processor that was burned and it is not reparable. So one Lite down. ![]()
