SXT LTE Connection

I am trying to connect the LTE interface of a https://mikrotik.com/product/sxt_lte_kit

The SIM that I am testing is Vodafone ES, and it is placed in SIM-A. In system-> routerboard-> SIM I have selected the slot of the SIM correctly

I think I may be putting the Vodafone APN wrong. I’m using:

APN: ac.vodafone.es
user: vodafone
pass: vodafone

I have also tried APN airtelnet.es without success.

the registration status after a while is denied:

pin-status: no password required
functionality: full
registration-status: denied
manufacturer: MikroTik
model: R11e-4G
Review: R11e-4G_V005

and the LTE Scanner does not return any results.

I have updated the firmware and started from the factory settings to start testing. Also adding only the APN to that initial configuration. In any post that I find seems to work without having to configure too much.
I can not think what else to try. I have also tried with 3 different SIM cards, but all of Vodafone ES (previously I have removed the PIN)

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Any news… I have a similar issue. I try to use a SIM of Vodafone DE (Germany, UltraCard) but I have no idea way I cannot connect to a Cell. With a Card of O2 it works…

In the UK you also need to set authentication to PAP on Vodafone.

I believe I really tried all combinations of APN and authentication I found somewhere…

APNs: web.vodafone.de, home.vodafone.de, event.vodafone.de
Authentication PAP: vf/vf, “blank”/“blank”, vodafone/vodafone, web/web
Authentication PAP: vf/vf, “blank”/“blank”, vodafone/vodafone, web/web


What I am wondering. Should I get something in the LTE scan or seeing some LEDs on even I am not connected to a Cell? I can see my cell phone having a good service but maybe the SXT does not have any…

I play a little bit with the position of the device and it looks like I get a connection to a cell

Question: why can this be, if my phone is just laying on my table and is having a good service

I just tried to connect to
home.vodafone.de (gigacube)
without success.

Bring us information like, ROS version, Modem model and firmware. Activate logs topic=lte,!raw and share them.
