So i have just started using the above mentioned model and now have 2 SIMS in a device.
What i cant find any documentation anywhere on is how to utilize the dual SIMS …
I’ve set up mutliple APN profiles (one for each provider i have a sim for … Voda and EE), and if i select either APN profile in the LTE interface properties i can connect to both providers.
So i see in the LTE interface propeties I can select multple APN profiles now … and I’m guessing the device figures which SIM to use for which APN … but when i select both APNS … I can no longer get any copnnection to either network.
So can someone from MT please point me in the direction of the docs on this or please share how it should would / be best utlisied …

So in the ticket reply you mentioned that only One sim works at a time but a CMD can be issued to switch. Is that CMD basically telling the interface to switch to a different APN ?
I have a scenario now where I have been working all morning on SIM 1 (EE) … to test I switched the APN to be Vodafone who are on SIM 2. change to SIM 2 works great … but now i can’t switch back over to SIM 1 … it basically never connects back to EE - even though the EE SIM that was working is still in the same slot etc etc…
I have checked to see if they had an outage that would explain it … but when doing an LTE scan i can see good service … but forbiden (i’m guessing causes its on SIM 2).
Do i need to do something to flip the device back onto SIM 1 ? I need to be on EE as its my pri provider with high traffic allowance … Voda is just for backup.
It would be great if the SIM Names matched the IDs on the board … Sim A and SIm B … has to be better than up/down ?
Are there any examples of scripting where the device responds to a loss of network ? I’m guessing its going to be looking for perhaps the R flag (or is that showing as R as long as the interface is enabled or only when connected / authenticated onto the cellular network ?)
I have also just purchased this unit as the current SXT LTE unit is being discontinued. I wish to be able to use the dual sim feature (two sims on the samei network EE). so that when the allowance on one sim expres it will switch to the second sim.
Also has any noticed if band 20 actually works on these units.
I understand how it all works quite clearly now … Sadly my scripting skills are not good enough right now to automate failover, but its 100% doable for sure.
