I have purchased a MikroTik SXT LTE kit US and I am having an issue with the type of data that it is using on the T-Mobile network. I have a friend with the same unit using it on an AT&T network and his is using cellular data. Mine will only use the mobile hotspot type data from the provider. I have used the APN provided by T-Mobile and they tell me that they think that this device will only use the mobile hot spot type data. I have been through the settings on the device and I don’t see anything that I am missing. Is there a setting that will allow the different type of data usage? Is the data usage type specific to the carrier? The mobile hotspot type data is limited and expensive where the cellular data is unlimited, so if I have missed something and can change this it would be a great help to me.
