SXT LTE low TX power with long cable

I just installed a SXT LTE and there are some problems with the TX power.
First I tested the system by using a short cable (5m) with final alignment and an result of ~45 Mbit/s RX and TX. (I think the cell doesn’t provide more than 50 Mbit/s)
The final installation works with a cable of ~ 50m and the TX rate goes down to ~10 Mbit/s. The RX Rate stays at ~45 Mbit/s.

My first idea is that the original power supply has not enough power to provide the SXT with full power by using the long cable.
Is that possible or are there any other ideas?

It can be. Or the cable is not good enough. Try to swap both subsequently.

Thanks for answering!

I’ll try another power supply first.
I think this might be a good option.

Higher voltage should have less loss for long distances. (…let the SXT burn… :smiling_imp: )

Changing the cable isn’t a nice option in fact.
The cable test was quite good and I used a really expensive outdoor cable.

I’ll asap write my results.

Try recrimping the ends at least, never had any power issues with 24v
