SXT...shows up in Netinstall but...

So SXT…RouterOS upgrade…bumped the ethernet cable and lost power in the middle. No problem…opened up Netinstall…computer configured with fixed IP and Netboot set to the next address…SXT shows up…click on the SXT…click on 5.23 npk file…click install…

And ten seconds later it says Ready - install - no reboot button.

Played with this over and over again and gave up. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have the latest netinstall ??

Otherwise try installing 5.22 first.

I tried everything from 5.12 up and same thing every time. Most of the forum posts about any routerboard exhibiting this behavior say they RMA’d the unit. I’m way out in the middle of nowhere and a long way away from more parts.

did you actually download the latest netinstall though ?

Yes. I used NetInstall 5.17 and on a whim tried NetInstall 5.14. Tried both using every version of firmware back to 5.12.
