I have a SXT G-2HnD that I use as a 2.4Ghz access point. Connected straight on to it’s LAN port is a 5ghz Nanostation Loco that connects up to our highsite.
What is happening constantly is that the LAN will sync at 10mbps, then disconnect, then sync at 10mbps, then disconnect. It stays connected for about 1 second, and disconnects for 1 second.
Both devices are powered by POE, and there is a 1M cable between the two POE adapters. This connects their LAN.
The distances over POE to both routers is about 2-3 meters, so their is no real power loss.
-I have upgraded both routers to the latest version.
-I have swopped out both routers with the same model but a different router.
-I have relaid all the cables twice. Once I did it over, and the second time I used shielded cable that was grounded.
-I have now installed a 24V 1A ubiquiti power supply aswell for the SXT. This made no difference.
When I plug my laptop in to the LAN port of the POE of the SXT, it works fine. There are no disconnects.
The same thing happens with the Nanostation Loco. It works fine when I plug my pc in to it.
The constant disconnecting/reconnecting of the ethernet ports only happens when the two units are plugged in to each other.
I am really at wits end here. I haven’t seen a curious problem like this in 8 years doing wireless networking.
Any suggestions?
