I’m testing sxt6lte in dual wan setup.
I didn’t use default configuration.
After initial connection and password setup it was configured in pass through mode according to instructions for older device (unfortunately there are no instructions for SXTR&EP06-A)
[admin@MikroTik] > /interface lte apn add apn=fast.t-mobile.com passthrough-interface=ether1
[admin@MikroTik] > /interface lte set lte1 apn-profiles= fast.t-mobile.com
Configured eth7 on rb5009 as wan, added dhcp client, connected sxt modem and successfully received public IP. Disconnected cable from Wan1 and failover to sxt worked instantly.
Question is, what’s the easiest way to access the modem for future updates and potential troubleshooting?
Can I connect eth2 of the modem with a second cable to rb5009 switch port and access it from a local network?
Vlan was mentioned as an option, but i haven’t figured out vlan yet (still learning).
Yes.
