Dear Madam or Sir,
I bought myself a Mikrotik Sxt6 lte modem.
Im in no way a network or computer guy…
I tried to follow the instructions provided.
My lan settings is set to DHCP.
When i try to connect to the ip adress of the modem, i get a connenction refused by 192.168.88.1 message.
Same happens if i try to connect to it via the mikrotik app with my smartphone…
192.168.88.1 refused the connection.
I hope you could help me out because im realy eager to try out your device.
This was the answer from the support:
"Connection refused, originates, from the default configuration installed on the device, being the CPE router:
In this type of configuration, the router is configured as a wireless client device. The WAN interface is a Wireless or LTE interface. WAN port has configured DHCP client, is protected by IP firewall and MAC discovery/connection is disabled.
Hence, ethernet connection must be used in this case."
The thing is i get the conection refused with the etheret cable…
Please help me out here
