SXTsq 5 ac (24V passive PoE) powered from 802.3af switch

Howdy folks, did a quick google search and didn’t find anything.

Has anybody used the unifi instant POE adapter to convert 802.3af to 24 passive on a SXTsq 5ac?

I took a unifi 24 passive poe injector and plugged it in and it looks like it fires up so going off that i assume it would work.
I have 2 cameras and a Mesh AP on a unifi flex switch in the fancy enclosure on a 50 watt poe injector but i can’t configure it for passive POE and it would be nice to use more of these SXTsq as back hauls instead of meshing.

I purchased both PoE adapters (indoor and outdoor) and they seem to work just fine. AP powered up and winbox was able to see it.
