SXTsq 5 ax simple bridge 180m

Hello,

Very simple setup, one SXTsq 5 ax as AP, other SXTsq 5 ax as client-bridge 180m away, perfect LOS.

I made simple cfg1, set SSID, country superchannel, band 5GHz AX, chann.width 20/40/80, freq 2300-75000

THE signal are -70 at best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is SXT SA5 ac near, that I see -40, as expected to this range

Are there something I misconfigured? Or is this joke and new bright future of WISP hardware?

Thanks.

Cool story, can you export working config for review

experience report: Nv2 compatibility - #7 by rextended

For sure, 75GHz...

I'm expecting -70 at 1000m, -50 at 180m... with SXTsq 5 ax @ 6Mbps

Expecting or experiencing???

same for CPE, except mode client-bridge

It's math, so I expect it.
As for work, however, I'm experiencing.

(and two:)
What are you writing? The device doesn't work at 75GHz... and not even to 2,4GHz

its just range what channels can radio choose, obviously it chooses 5180-5880 or smth

So I wonder, what is going on?

NGL, I avoided using sxtsq ax on a new project and went with sxtsq ac as sxtsq ax is a new device. Can you change wireless from AX to AC only on both devices and see if signal improves? RouterOS 7.24beta1 is installed on device, I don’t see any posts with issues on this OS. Can you change country=Superchannel to your actual country

Try first non-edge channels @ 20MHz, then find manually the best.
auto-frequency do not work well as expected...

AC doesn't change anything

this is 150m distance

country is superchannel

-65???

At 150 meters I would expect (never mind how) -55,
-60 respecting local regulation...

I don't intervene here anymore (excpt whn ctd), too many strange things.

5240MHz gives -57

somewhat better  but nothing compared to older AC products

try for yourself

Have you done bandwidth tests over the links? If the links stay solid with no disconnects lock them in and be happy :stuck_out_tongue:

I will do that. For now with your help it is some kind usable. But clearly not right. with these figures I cannot imagine link more then 200m, because signal will be -80 and not working. I have UBN* loco ac 350m link 20db gain signal -49

how to explain such low signal for mikrotik?
