SXTsq Lite2 as access point

I think I might have bought an SXTsq Lite2 by a mistake. I need 2.4GHz to penetrate a thick glass wall, and with its high gain antenna it seemed perfect. I want to use this as an indoor access point through a glass wall for a few devices (minimum 2, perhaps 3 or 4) on the outside. 2-3 meters from the wall.
After some reading, it seems it can’t be set up as a access point(?).
I have my RB2011 running caps-man for a bunch of cAP ac, and would love if the SXTsq Lite2 can be managed the same way. But even if I need to manually configure it, it’s ok. But it is possible to connect multiple clients on the SXTsq Lite2?

It is possible if you buy and upgrade with license 4!

I hoped I wouldn’t have to. That puts the price to a whole other level, and I could have bought something else.
I haven’t opened it yet, and we have 14 days return policy.

Could it be possible to at least connect one client directly to it (an iPad)?

Ole

Not really. With license level 3 it can only be run in “bridge” mode[*] … which is Mikrotik’s proprietary extension of 802.11 standard and works in 4-address mode … 802.11 stations/clients work in 3-address mode which is not compatible.

[*] … or any of station modes (there are multiple). You’d need “ap” mode (or “ap-bridge” mode).
