I have following problem:
I try to limit bandwidth to single host on local network (there is only one host). I try to configure symmetric bandwidth (2M/2M) with RouterOS Simple Queue mechanism. I set target address to this host IP, checked both directions, and set desired limit. However its is not working as i would expect it to. When there is only download going on from this host everything works ok (2M limit is applied). Same thing happens when there is only upload going on. But when i try to upload and download something simultaneously from this host, upload reaches maximum bandwidth (2M) while download is reduced to only about 25% - 30% of the cap value, thus the connection is not symmetric. What im doing wrong? I followed QoS and bandwidth howto from Mikrotik website regarding Simple Queues. Any suggestion would be greately appreciated.
