I’m talking about Syslog logging as a feature of the tool Dude v7.8.

I found that the Dude-Syslog records are lost when the Dude service is stopped.
The Dude service needs to be restarted occasionally. For example, when SNMP discovery fails. Or when exporting a Dude database for backup purposes.
How to ensure that records in Dude-Syslog persist?
