syslogs get out via DHCP but not static on WRAP APs *Resolv*

fixed rogue IPFW rule

i have a few wrap based AP’s tied into a 2.9.22 rb500 router.

all clients of the AP’s get a private address via DHCP, while the AP’s are all set with static IP’s.

I have a syslog Daemon set up remotly on the net. If i set the AP’s to write to the syslog remotly the messages do not get through. Now if i set the AP’s to use DHCP and they grab an address from the RB500s pool, the syslogs remotly go through.

With either setting the AP can ping the outside world..

Any ideas? I know i could just set the APs to static ip’s via DHCP but i would rather them be fully static for backup.

thanks
