System does not permit Internet access

Hi

I have Mikrotik RouterOS installed on a PC, it is some old, but it has more than minimum requirement.

Lately the system does not work good, Sometimes it does not permit Internet access and I can’t connect externally by Winbox. Then I should reboot manually.

What is the problem? and What can I do to solve that problem?

I don’t have any idea how can I solve that problem.

  1. your hardware (system) resources are ok.
  2. since you said it was an old system, make sure all cmos settings permit Mikrotik to boot. confirm this by having your monitor plugged. till you ssee login screen.
  3. login, go to system/interface then print to make sure your ethernet cards are ok, you can also verify IP then try to connet via winbox.
    4 check your settings.

Most times hardware failure on old systems make Mikrotik not to work.
