I took the modem from my neighbor and now I got two. I need different System ID for the 2 WAN ports. I don’t want my cable ISP know that I have 2 modems at home. I only see one ID… can it be made?
no. simply change it to something non-informative, like ‘homecomputer’ =)
That would be a good option. I got a dual-wan D-Link router that has an option of setting different name for each connection.
